Outfit : Contrast

Dear readers,
Tomorrow is my only exam of this semester, so today I had some time to shoot a new outfit for y'all !
I wore this to a party yesterday, and liked it so much I wanted to show it to you.
I like the contrasts in this outfit with the black, the beige in my shoes and top and the denim jacket.
I always love big color contrasts, they kind of speak to me. Definitely when you look at my shoes, beige and black is a huge contrast in colors, but I loved them the moment I saw them.
I'm keeping it short so I can go back to studying for the exam tomorrow...

Outfit ; To have the world as my stage

So here are a few photo's from my performance yesterday... It was kind of different than what I'm used to, because it sounds so different when you are performing outside ( on a market). I think it's so nice my friends came to see me ! And as I was hoping for I saw allot of familiar faces, I always like that. I had a great time, but I'm a little worried about my throat. Suddenly something didn't seem right and it felt horrible.. I hope it will go away soon.
Further more I'm so happy with this disco pants from nelly.com :). It makes me look so thin, I love it !

Outfit ; Ground control to major Tom

Cheers to the freakin' weekend ! And as you can see I'm posting a new outfit. I've already shown you this galaxy legging by glamorous, but I love to find new combinations for it. I came up with this when I was going through my closet and I saw this blazer ( just hanging around). I haven't worn it in years so I decided I would find something nice to wear it with. I think it's so funny how people always stare at me when I'm wearing these kind of leggings, but luckily I also get allot of compliments ! 

This weekend I finally get to perform again ! So happy about it ! Singing still is my one true passion and I hope allot of people will come to see me, maybe see some familiar faces..

Outfit & Event : Vogue Fashion night out !

Lovely readers, I had such a great time at the Vogue Fashion Night Out yesterday ! I can recommend everyone to go there, not only if you're into fashion, but just to feel the vibe that is in the air on such an event. There were so many different people with different sense of style, I loved it ! Here I want to show you what I was wearing and where I've been. I went to Amsterdam with my best friend. There was champagne everywhere so that was a big plus for me ! Sipping Moet Chandon at Louis Vuitton and having fun in the Micheal Kors store. Damn, I love those bags so much ! 

Also, there was music everywhere on the streets. Something I personally love ! I was so impressed by the lady singing opera.. it was brilliant ! Also I love the sax, and this guy was standing next to a Lamborghini, at first sight he seemed to be standing on it, but there was a platform next to the car.. I expected to see Candy Dulfer ( a dutch female saxplayer), but I just missed her.. 

My best friend and I had a great time laughing and sipping all the champagne we could get. We first walked into a Gstar store, a brand I totally love ! I spotted some amazing jackets in their new collection, but they are known for their jeans. At the store we immediately had our picture taken, a polaroid picture.   Very cute !

 I had a great evening with a lot of fun and in the end I got a nice shirt from Vogue, Thanks !

Outfit ; Pink Galaxy

The outfit I want to show you might seem a bit simple because of the basic shirt and such, but I don't like to wear shirts with striking print on a legging thats striking on its own.
Todays outfit contains my favorite legging, my pink galaxy legging by Blackmilk Clothing. They have amazing leggings !

It's probably one of the favorite pieces in my wardrobe ! They're so comfortable and I love the colours. I wore them with sneakerwedges and some nice bracelets and a lion ring, the ring was a gift from my best friend.

A different name.. Why ?

Today I switched the name of this blog from Front Row Sisters to Joy 'n Spice.
Why ?
Because Bobbi didn't feel much for blogging anyway so it wasn't really a sister-thing we were doing..
There are some fun things coming soon like a banner and a nice event I'm going to in Amsterdam !

Outfit : White Autumn

Dear readers,

The new edition of Vogue came in a few days ago. Reading through it I spotted so many trends I'm really happy about, like leather or the grunge look. I love it !

Vogue said it would be a white autumn this year. I agree because I think that the grey rainy sky could use some fresh colors ( like white). Since it was the last day that had a real summer feeling I decided to go with a white and flowing look.

I wore some nice and small jewelry with it,

I love the back of this top. I also love the simplicity of it, but because of the fabric it still just looks great. 

It's a shame that my bra-straps are so obvious but wearing nothing underneath this top is in my opinion just not done.. 

I have gotten many more ideas for this ' white autumn' I hope to show you soon !

Outfit ; Party all night + arm party !

Lately I've been to some amazing parties.
Last week I went to a party called Campingparty 't Hosselaar. What a blast I had there ! This is a party given by some guys I know who live on a big farm in the small town I live in. They are all DJ's and want to throw a festival kind of party for free. So they do this every year in their backyard ( which is huge !) There were almost 500 people attending the party and the vibe was great ! So many friendly faces, I loved it !

Yesterday my best friends threw his birthday party at the youth centre I used to work. We had so much fun doing karaoke and laughing over memories.
I decided to show you the outfit I wore to my BFFs party.

I'm sorry the pictures turned out so crappy, but I had to take them last minute.. That didn't turn out too well.

Trend/Outfit : Double statement necklace

Hi y'all !

Lately I've seen a new trend pasing by that I really like : wearing more then one statement necklace !
I wanted to try it so I created an outfit.

As you can see the outfit is actually very simple so you keep your eyes on the different necklaces. I tried to wear a basic shirt with it as well, but it lacked a bit of color so I went with this one.

Outfit ; Simply Grey

Hi loves,
I want to show you a look I wore a few days ago, when it got colder in the Netherlands.
The sky looked grey so I figured I could make a look for such a day.

It's a very basic and simple look, I like that when I don't have to get out of the house. On those days I just stay inside and blog or play a videogame. 

I wore simple jewelry like a small bracelet and my golden watch. To spice up the look a little I went with a deep color red lipstick.

Outfit ; New Galaxy

Hi loves, today is a rainy day in the small town I live in. Weather has been so great these days, but it seems to be all gone now. So we're back to wearing leggings and jeans instead of shorts. I want to show you this outfit with my new galaxy leggings by Glamorous. I bought them at www.blackfashionstore.com .  I was so happy I bought these, because I love the colors of them. I wasn't quite sure which shoes I should wear with them, but I wanted to keep it simple so I went with my converse allstars.

Outfit ; Festival Fever

Good morning loves,
yesterday I went to a great festival : Holi festival of colours in Utrecht !
It is a festival that reminds of the colour festival in India. Here is a nice picture I made during the throwing of the powder.

I had a wonderful time ! It's great throwing coloured powder at people and nobody seemed to mind getting all dirty. It was a shame though that the music sounded all the same.. 

As I said, me and my friends looked very colourfull, but felt really dirty at the end. 

There were so many people attending the festival, which surprised me, because I hadn't seen any promotion for it. Another thing I noticed was that everybody, mostly girls, had really dressed up and didn't care about getting their clothes dirty at all. Many girls wore flowers in their hair or bandana's with shorts and flowing tops. I was a little concerned with my clothes never getting the same color back, so I didn't dress up my best, but I do want to show you what I was wearing !

I think that when you go to a festival the first thing you need is comfort. I put my vans on, because they are so comfy, and because of the heat I wore shorts and a tank top with racer back. 

To make the combination a bit more glamorous I put on red lipstick ( full speed by Mac)

Outfit ; Soldier in the sun.

The weather in the Netherlands is a bit down these days.
So I decided to wear a skinny instead of shorts with sneakers and a shirt.
Luckily the sun remained bright and I could wear my new Ray-ban glasses ! These were custom made for me, because I actually need glasses but I'm to lazy to wear them.

I got this shirt from a dutch designer, Nikkie Plessen. I totally love her collection ! She has really cool shirts and super girly skirts ( that rhymes, haha). Love the way she combines the pieces in her collection in her lookbook. Check her webshop here : http://nikkie.nl/

Love this bikini and galaxy leggings !

When I went to repair my phone, I accidentally dropped it, I walked past a Hunkemoller store. I knew I wanted this bikini so I wanted to check if they had my size, and I was lucky ! 

Like I told you in my last post I'm crazy about leggings. When I saw these on blackfashionstore.com, I knew I had to have them. They just came in and they look great ! Already thinking about how I'm going to wear this. I'll keep you posted !

Outfit : comfy in leggings

Today I had a lazy day with my dog. 

I didn't feel like looking awesome so I went for a comfy outfit. 

I went to the park with my dog and my boyfriends dog, 

they had never played together and my dog is getting old, 

so I was curious if he would be nice to the little dog. 

Luckily they had a good time !

My dog is ofcourse the crazy one, rolling around in the grass. 

My sister left for Leiden today with her friend so I had to take pictures by myself, they turned out as selfies ;) But this way I can show you the supercool Iphone case I got from my best friend ! (by Juicy Couture) I love it <3

I love wearing leggings especially leggings by Blackmilk. (http://blackmilkclothing.com/) 

But they are expensive, so I bought this cross leggings at nelly.com where they were a lot cheaper. I must admit they are not as comfy as Blackmilks.. 

The weather is still pretty fine in the Netherlands so I wore a sleeveless top by Juicy Couture. It says : Just because I'm a girl doens't mean I'm not a queen. I bought this tee during my trip to London some time ago. 

I was wearing my pink Allstars and pink lipstick with it, but my lipstick faded and I couldn't get a good picture of my shoes.. So I'm just telling you how I wore this look.
